Who doesn't love a documentary, especially one with endless aerial shots of somewhere you love? Mountains, glaciers, rainforest, volcanic peaks...what's not to love. So the purpose of this post is to share a documentary that fits that bill - Knowledge Network's Canada Over the Edge, and more importantly, it's Sea to Sky Episode.
This is a great series. It would be of interest to tourists to find out about this beautiful part of the world. And of interest to locals also, as how often do you get to see the Sea to Sky from the air? The views of Howe Sound and Garibaldi Park are beautiful and must surely inspire many to take to the trails to explore more.
This episode also looks at the area's more recent settlement growth, which of course includes the former Britannia Mine community.
But saving the best for last, what's even better about this series is that it's available online. All thirteen episodes from the Lower Mainland to BC's North Coast, each fifty minute episode can be watched in full on the Knowledge Network website. So sit back with a cup of coffee and enjoy the show....
