Angela Muellers specializes in capturing the character and spirit of the individual who poses for her portraits. Her work has been seen at shows across Canada. At the Copper and Fire Arts Event, Angela will be showcasing portraits painted on copper plates.
Angela is not only a talented artist but also a talented teacher; a skill that we highly value at the museum. Her teaching style has been described as "relaxed and personal" as well as "organized and easy to follow". Angela prides herself on taking the extra time to personalize her workshops for the individual and making sure that everyone understands the material. It is important to her that each student gets as much as possible for her workshops.
Angela's preferred art medium is portraits, figures, and landscapes. Some of her work can be seen below as well as on her website. If you are interested in any classes or instruction or wish to commission a piece of art, additional information can be found on her website as well.
Angela's work is well circulated. She was a finalist in the Art Renewal Center (based in New Jersey) and won a Purchase Award. Her work was published in "Strokes of Genius 6" and "Art Journey Portraits and Figures". She performs numerous juried shows in Vancouver, Toronto, Victoria, Squamish, and Whistler.
