Join us at Britannia Mine Museum this May for Mining Month. Mining is one of BC’s largest and oldest industries and BC Mining Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the importance of the modern industry to British Columbians and to the communities on which they play an important role.
For over a century, mining has shaped and influenced the community at Britannia Beach. During May, we will be engaging with visitors, both on site and digitally, on how mining has, and still does, shape communities and lives. Not just our lives, but the lives of the plants and animals around us.
