2021-2022 STEM Education Field Trips

A visit to the award-winning Britannia Mine Museum is a one-of-a-kind trip.

Britannia Mine Museum is a STEM Education Partner, providing unique, entertaining & memorable curriculum-based educational experiences that consider the relevance and impact of resource management and geologic exploration.

Students of all ages will have an enjoyable and engaging experience.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
  • Arrival times are 9:45 or 10:15
  • We are currently accepting one school per day (To be reviewed monthly dependent on the latest health orders)
  • Each program should include a combination of Underground, Lab, and Around the Site sessions
  • A minimum of 2 hours must be booked. Depending on your group size 3 hours may be required to allow for group rotations
  • We have a covered space for classes to eat lunch in our Multi-Purpose Room. If you would like to schedule lunch for 30 minutes during your visit, please select this session and add 30 minutes to your program time.
  • For the Copper Quest Underground Experience, masks are required for students 12+ years of age
