Admission to the Britannia Mine Museum includes a guided underground tour, historical exhibits, gold panning, the award-winning film Ground Breaking and our newest attraction BOOM!
New safety protocols mean that we have reduced site capacity. Booking your admission time online prior to your visit is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee availability for walk-up traffic. Masks are mandatory in the underground for adults and children over 5. Museum are not currently included in the Provincial Health Order requiring visitors to need a vaccine passport. The Province is consulting with the sector on potential future inclusion.
With so much to see you may want to allow 1.5 - 2 hours for your visit.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your admissions reservation time to allow time to explore the Visitors Centre and make your way to the train pavilion for your guided underground tour.
