Britannia Mine Museum: The Best of Britannia

The Britannia Mine was said to be home to more than sixty thousand people from over fifty nationalities over the seventy years of its life, from 1904 to 1974. Home to two townsites and several mining camps, this isolated community was at its peak, one of the largest copper mines in the world. Collected here are over 250 archival photos from the collections of the Britannia Mine Museum. They span the life of the Mine and illustrate the places, people and events that made this mining community great.
