Britannia Mine Museum is a key visitor attraction in the Sea to Sky Corridor and we pride ourselves on giving our 75,000+ annual visitors a rewarding, enjoyable, and entertaining experience. We are a non-profit, driven by a small and passionate team. We have a unique historic site, and are enthusiastic about telling Britannia's story to the world.
Britannia Mine Museum underwent a major redevelopment in 2010 and we have continued to grow and innovate ever since, with several recent and upcoming additions. In 2019 we launched our new sound and special-effects show “BOOM!” -- an immersive live-action visitor experience.

Historic Interpreter (Public Educator / Tour Guide)
This position is at the heart of the Museum, and key to ensuring our visitors have a memorable, engaging, and educational visit through outstanding storytelling and customer service. Britannia Mine Museum was rated by the Vancouver Sun as a top COVID-safe attraction, and our large site makes maintaining physical distance achievable as we continue to deliver outstanding programs and services to our visitors.
The safety of our staff and guests is our top priority.
