We are just 10-minutes south of Squamish right beside the Sea-to-Sky Highway on the Rainforest to Rockies Route at 150 Copper Drive.
Whether you are self-driving, taking a tour or transportation with the Squamish Connector, all the options are listed below.
Self Driving
Easy parking in our free parking lot
From Vancouver, enjoy a beautiful 45-minute drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway taking in picturesque views of Howe Sound. 10km north of Porteau Cove, you will see the biggest truck you’ve ever seen. Take a right and you’ll find our free parking lot on your right-hand side.
From Whistler, drive 45 minutes south on Highway 99, exploring the cascading viewpoints and mountainous interior. When you pass Squamish, you’ll be just 10 minutes away. As you round the final turn, you will see our iconic white Mill looming over the hillside, take a left at the T-intersection and find a spot in our free parking lot.
Travelling in a RV?
Our parking lot has dedicated RV parking for larger vehicles.
Electric Charging
There are no electric charging stations at Britannia Mine Museum, the closest ones would be in Squamish.
Taxi/RideShare
Taking a Taxi/RideShare to the museum is NOT recommended, as it can be challenging to secure a return ride at the end of your visit.

The museum opens at 9am and our first tour is at 10am. You will be allowed access to the museum on arrival at 9am and can explore the exhibits and gold panning until your tour at 10am but you will need to choose the 9:30am arrival when choosing an arrival time when booking.
