Yes. Our large parking lot includes a pull-in for buses to stop and passengers to disembark. The buses then park in the bus bays at the rear of the parking lot.

The designated group leader should go to our admissions desk to check in. Our Interpreters assigned to conduct your program will meet you and your students and proceed with the orientation.

Every class is welcome to visit the Company Store. If this is something your students would like to do, please let our Booking Coordinator know so they can add it into your tour schedule and add additional staff and time before the bus pick-up.

We have a covered space for classes to eat lunch in our Multi-Purpose Room. If you would like to schedule 30 minutes for lunch during your program please select this as a session when choosing your Around the Site Sessions and add an additional 30 minutes to your program time.  Alternatively you can choose to eat lunch on the bus, or at nearby Shannon Falls Provincial Park. (A 5 minute drive north of us.)

If you would like to order sandwiches, snacks or drinks for purchase for your class please let us know in advance.

Based on teacher feedback from the 2022/2023 school year, we are restricting each school group to choosing just one lab program per class. Please contact our bookings coordinator if you would like to discuss which program will best meet your needs.

One of our Historic Interpreters will be with your group for the Copper Quest underground tour, BOOM! show, and all lab programs. They will also provide directions at the gold panning station, and will assist with site entry and departure.

Your guide will ask you to fill out a short in-person survey about your field trip at the end of the program to help us measure our success. You can also reach out to our Bookings Coordinator after your visit if you wish to provide further feedback.

Due to the scheduling of other programs, your class must depart at the designated departure time found on your confirmation document. If you would like to stay longer onsite, please talk to our Booking Coordinator about booking free time onsite.

If you have booked Gold Quest and the weather is severely cold, we offer the option of Exhibit Time in lieu of panning for gold.
