To celebrate BC Day, we invite you to enjoy live music, fun, and games at the Britannia Mine Museum.
The ensemble band, The Little Mountain Brass Band, will play three 30-minute sets on BC Day at the museum at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.
The performance, games and access to the "A Museum's Journey" exhibit are all included in museum admission on August 4th.
Advance booking is recommended.
The Little Mountain Brass Band is an ensemble in the tradition of the British Brass Band.
Formed in September of 1995, the band’s name originates from the location of our first rehearsals near Queen Elizabeth Park also known locally as “Little Mountain”. Earlier this year the band celebrated its 30th Anniversary.
From humble beginnings the band has developed over the years to become a popular ensemble in Greater Vancouver performing concerts in the Lower Mainland, the Okanagan, and Whistler, amongst others.
The band is excited to perform for the first time at the Britannia Mine Museum!
