Old Town, New Queens returns to Britannia Mine Museum for two incredible shows and an exciting, expanded performer lineup! Get ready as your favourite BC drag performers take to the stage and perform in historic Mill #3, an enormous 100-year old copper concentrator. Prepare for a fierce and fabulous spin on the museum experience.

Did you know that Britannia Mine is still used for mine safety competitions?

Local drag superstars Dust Cwaine, Homo Hardware and Sativa The Diva will lead an all star cast of drag queens, drag kings and drag things through fierce lip sync numbers inspired by all things 'mine safety'.

Outside of show time, guests will enjoy access to the Museum site including our feature summer exhibit about Mine Safety.

Tickets include access to two drag shows in the Mill and access to lower site Museum exhibits, including the gold panning station and summer feature exhibition.

Babas House Kitchen Food truck and non-alcoholic drink service will be on site; this is a dry event. 


Regular Pricing: $44.95* Plus tax

As with previous years, some performances may include 'grown up humour' including stronger language and edgier content; however, audiences of all ages who are looking to celebrate Pride are welcome.

Acacia Gray

Acacia Gray is a disco diva with a passion for dance, face, and serving emotion on a silver platter. As a member of Haus Bukuru and a local drag artist in Vancouver, she wears her heart on her rhinestone sleeve. During her performances, expect to get up on your feet in a dance number, or let out a tear from her emotional ballads. From musical theatre to Afrobeats, she’ll give you a piece of her heart and soul at every show.

Dolly Hardon

Dolly Hardon is Vancouver’s very own Reverse Cowgirl, and current reigning Vancouver's Next Drag Phenomenon’, a title she holds after her triumphant win at the iconic Drag Derby competition. Dolly makes up one fifth of the all-Asian drag house, the Minh Dynasty. Her drag style is glamorous, sexy, campy and theatrical, inspired by growing up in rural Alberta, Dolly is an irreverent fun performer with no shortage of southern hospitality.

Flemme Fatale

Flemme Fatale is your transatlantic, neo noir fantasy brought to life. This genderfluid drag artist is not a King or a Queen but an experience!  Flemme has performed across Turtle Island and is renowned for their ravishing lip syncs and emotive storytelling. Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne (England), Flemme Fatale serves a certain je ne sais quoi vibe with a British twist.

AndrogynAss (He/Him) is a “Vancouver” based Drag King, professionally trained actor and athlete.  With performances that are high energy, flirty, and character driven, he will capture your heart in a moment.  He was recently crowned Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar 2024!

Dust Cwaine

For nearly a decade, Dust Cwaine has been commanding stages across Western Canada with their signature high-voltage musical drag experiences. Whether as a performer themselves or the masterminding curator behind three drag musicals, bi-weekly performances of burgeoning drag artists, or the producer of shows featuring the well-established talents of RuPaul’s Drag Race alumni, Dust has established themselves as one of the premier voices of the electric Canadian drag scene.

Homo Hardware

Homo Hardware (he/they) is a pun-loving Dad in Drag. They are known for comedic shenanigans, campy classic rock, and joyful celebrations of non-binary gender euphoria. Out of drag, Homo is a museum professional with a background in interpretation and programming. They are giddy to bring these interests together as a performer and co-producer on museum drag shows across the Lower Mainland, contributing to shows at The HR McMillan Space Centre, The Museum of North Vancouver, and of course The Britannia Mine Museum!

Justin Abit

Justin Abit (he/him) is a Vancouver-adjacent debonair Drag King! He started winning hearts in 2020 and continues to dazzle audiences with his charisma, opulence, cleverness and kindness.  

He loves community service, and has been involved in drag philanthropy for 4 years. He was on a little show called Call Me Mother on Season 2, placing top 5 in 2023. Justin is a show-stopping heartbreaker with sizable swagger, doing it all ‘a bit’ with an abundance of sparkle.  



Theo Rhetical

Theo Rhetical is a two spirit drag king of Cree and Métis ancestry. A storyteller by design, this magical creature flits through time and space, taking enraptured audiences along with him on adventures full of feeling. He is always eager to discover new reasons to celebrate the beauty of queerness, indigeneity, and the art of life.

Sativa The Diva

Squamish’s very own it girl Drag Queen extraordinaire Sativa The Diva is a Fabulous queen that is bringing you the High Energy, Fun Camp and so much more! Sativa has been producing/hosting events and Performing in our community for over a year and a half now with weekly Drag Bingos every Monday at the Cleveland Tavern. Sativa was even nominated for the Bill Manson Citizen of the year award 2022 with a major focused on bringing more positive, inclusive space to our community.
