Giants of Drag are clocking in to werk.
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Old Town, New Queens returns to Britannia Mine Museum for a night like no other. Inspired by the Museum's summer exhibit, Giants at Work: Big Jobs, Bigger Machines, this year's edition brings together 14 of the most electrifying performers from across British Columbia to take over Mill No. 3, an enormous 100-year-old copper concentrator carved into the mountainside.
From high voltage musical queens to campy comedy kings, non binary drag things to disco divas, this is drag the way it was meant to be experienced.
Iconic. Unstoppable. Unforgettable.
This year, the show is bigger and bolder. Old Town, New Queens 2026, Giants at Werk, brings an expanded cast of 14 extraordinary drag artists, performers, and entertainers from the Sea to Sky corridor and beyond.
Set inside one of Canada's most iconic industrial heritage sites, it is a night where spectacular artistry meets real community history. Prepare for a fierce and fabulous spin on your museum experience.
This is an all-ages, dry event - no alcohol served. Food and beverage will be available for purchase onsite from Totomoxtle by La Poblanita, a local family-run, Mexican food concept rooted in the traditions of Puebla, Mexico. See all the deliciousness on Instagram, @totomoxtle_by_la_poblanita.
Presented in partnership with Sleepy Queers Productions, Giants at Werk is more than a show. It is a celebration of identity, belonging, and a community that has always known how to throw a party worth talking about.
