Britannia Mine Museum is not part of Parks Canada and is not included in the Canada Strong Pass. Only Mill No. 3 itself is a designated as a National Historic Site. We are an independent, non-profit museum, and your admission helps us preserve history, offer programs, and stay open for all.

What's included with Admission?

Admission to the Britannia Mine Museum includes a 75 minute guided tour into the underground and Mill No.3 to watch the award-winning show BOOM! Tours run regularly throughout the day. Reservations are highly recommended.

After your guided tour allow time to explore and discover the wide variety of exhibits and activities including a site favorite gold panning!

With so much to see, you will want to allow 1.5 – 3 hours for your visit.
