Welcome! Admission to the Britannia Mine Museum includes a guided underground tour, historical exhibits, gold panning, the award-winning film Ground Breaking and our newest attraction BOOM!
Please note masks are now mandatory indoors and in the Underground for adults and children over 12. The Museum has enhanced site sanitization, installed social distancing markers, and has significantly reduced site capacity. Booking your admission time online prior to your visit is highly recommended. We cannot guarantee availability for walk-up traffic.
With so much to see, you may want to allow 1.5 – 2 hours for your visit.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your admissions reservation time to allow time to explore the Visitors Centre and make your way to the train pavilion for your guided underground tour.
