The Britannia Project

The 2010 Museum transformation was a result of an active board and the generous donations from industry, government and individuals. The enhanced site features exciting new venues for fun family entertainment and engagement about mining, local arts and culture, restored heritage buildings, historical research and preservation, and education exhibits.

The Museum is grateful to Western Economic Diversification ($5 million contribution) and to Canada-British Columbia Infrastructure Stimulus Fund ($2 million contribution).
