Admission to the Britannia Mine Museum includes a guided underground tour, historical exhibits, gold panning, the award-winning film Ground Breaking and our newest attraction BOOM!
Booking your admission time online prior to your visit is highly recommended to avoid disappointment. We cannot guarantee availability for walk-up traffic. Masks are mandatory in the underground for adults and children over 5.
With so much to see you may want to allow 1.5 - 2 hours for your visit.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your admissions reservation time to allow time to explore the Visitors Centre and make your way to the train pavilion for your guided underground tour.
The underground tour is included in your admission and scheduled for 1/2 an hour after your entry time. With reduced capacity in the underground, if you miss your admission reservation we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate you on the underground tour as most tours fill up daily.
